FACILITIES
Highvale Secondary College offers a comfortable setting for learning sport and recreation. It is situated in award-winning gardens.

Highvale Secondary College is conveniently located near public transportation, and a fleet of buses transports passengers right up to the College’s gates.
College Tours
Please meet at their college administration building, which is the structure closest to Capital Avenue, on the day of your visit.
All family members who are school-age or older must purchase a ticket. Please bring the tickets for your family members in order to enter the tour.
Tours start at 9.30 am and last until about 10. 30 am.
UNIFORM
Students at Highvale pride themselves on wearing their uniform, as it is required attire. Along with a sports uniform, there are several choices for both winter and summer uniforms. The school has an on-site uniform shop to help parents.
Mondays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Wednesdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., but only by appointment. There are also additional dates available throughout December, January, and February. Please remember to bring a bag of your own for your purchases.
BOOK HIRE
The Council created the Highvale Secondary College Book Hire Program as a special feature of the institution to lower the cost of purchasing textbooks. The $220 requested from parents or guardians each year covers the cost of the entire year’s worth of textbooks.
Within the first few lessons, the class teacher gives the students these books. Students are required to return these books at the conclusion of the school year.
In other schools, parents are typically asked to buy their children’s textbooks from different book vendors. For VCE students, this often costs in the neighborhood of $500 or more.
